After the heartbreaking loss of her best friend in a tragic car accident, she found purpose in preserving her legacy. She currently serves as the Legacy Director of Kada’s Promise, a 501c3 nonprofit founded by her best friend, Kadance, dedicated to providing teddy bears to children who have experienced abuse or neglect. In this role, she oversees the organization’s social media and leads its international ambassador program with more than 90 ambassadors across 45 states and 12 countries to continue spreading hope, one teddy bear at a time.

Beyond her professional and philanthropic work, Sharlysse enjoys exploring new matcha orders, Pilates, listening to podcasts, and strength training, and hopes to earn her Pilates instructor certification. She believes success is most meaningful when it creates opportunities and hope for someone else. As Miss Teen All American, she is grateful to embrace her journey and the power of her words to impact others while serving as a trailblazing titleholder for the Miss All American organization and representing a purpose that is bigger than herself.
